Python Developer
Job Summary
Join our Private Cloud Engineering team as a Python Developer and contribute to the development and maintenance of various software products within our Private Cloud Platform ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the FastAPI web framework to develop robust applications
- Employ automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Use DevOps tools including JIRA, Confluence, and GIT
- Oversee provisioning of systems across pre-production and production environments
- Demonstrate familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript and HTML5
- Experience with the VueJS framework is advantageous
- Database administration for MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), etc
- Handle Linux systems tasks: command line and shell scripting, capacity planning, OS and application debugging, software lifecycle management, and networking (LPIC-2 equivalent)
- This role requires the ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required
- Writing effective, scalable code
- Testing and debugging applications
- Develop functional and efficient server-side components
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Manage testing and bug fixes
- Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with team members
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a Python Developer
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Previous experience in the entertainment or video game industry is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
