3. SMS / Text Messaging
What our SMS program does
Calance operates SMS programs to support recruiter-candidate outreach, customer service for active engagements, and program-related communications. You'll only receive SMS messages from Calance if you've opted in by:
- Submitting your mobile number through the SMS opt-in form at www.calanceus.com/careers/sms-optin, or On that page, the opt-in form states: “By providing your phone number and clicking ‘Submit,’ you agree to receive recruiting and job-opportunity SMS messages, including marketing and promotional messages about open roles, from Calance. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment or purchase. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy at www.calanceus.com/privacy-policy for details.”
- Giving written consent on a Calance-supplied paper or digital intake form, or The form is provided directly by a Calance recruiter during application intake and includes the disclaimer: “By signing this form and providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS recruiting and job-opportunity messages, including marketing and promotional messages, from Calance. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of employment or purchase. Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.”
- Giving recorded verbal consent to a Calance recruiter who has documented the time, date, and program A candidate may call or be called by a Calance recruiter at a number published on calancejobs.com or a Calance LinkedIn job posting. The recruiter states verbally: “Would you like to sign up for SMS updates from Calance so we can send you recruiting and job-opportunity messages, including marketing and promotional messages about open roles? By providing your phone number, you are consenting to receive these text messages from us. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. You can text HELP for support and STOP to unsubscribe at any time. We won’t share your mobile information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Our Privacy Policy is available at www.calanceus.com/privacy-policy.” Once the candidate agrees verbally, the recruiter records the phone number, date, time, and program, and a confirmation SMS is sent as described in Section 3.4.
Opt-out
